BANDI DEVI
A devotee who bathes in prayag teerth (now dasaswamedh ghat) and performs pooja/archana of Bandi Devi with all devotion will not be bound with iron chains.
A person who has committed any crime which may involve jail punishment, is advised (Kashi Khand Chapter 70) to worship Bandi Devi on all Tuesdays with fasting (having one time means only). By undertaking such poojas, devi will relieve him of all worldly bondages. When Devi can relieve the devotee from all bondages, ordinary chains are nothing.
If a devotee sincerely worships Bandi Devi as mentioned in Kashi Khand, this will benefit his relatives also who may be living elsewhere and that person will be released from imprisonment.
Sincere prayers to Bandi Devi will result in fulfilment of all desires of the devotees and there is no doubt about this.
Worshipping Bandi Devi will remove all sorts of misgivings tormenting the devotee, who will be blessed by the Devi.
